Details of the Day: The feel we were going for on our wedding day was “classic romance with a touch of sparkle”. The main colors we used were champagne and burgundy. The bridesmaids dressed were a champagne color which we paired with a crystal beaded belt. The bridesmaid’s bouquets were hand tied, filled with quick sand roses, burgundy calallies, white hydrangea and alstromeria. The bridal bouquet was a hand tied bouquet filled with quick sand roses, white peonies, white calallies, fresia, white stephanotis and small pins with crystals on the end. Our centerpieces were a mix of white hydrangea, quick sand roses, marsala gerbera dasies, alstromeria and white stock. The florist then draped crystals throughout. Our favors were white Yankee candles in a champagne colored holder.
The Venue: We felt that il Tulipano was the perfect venue for us because they were all about making sure every need of ours was taken care of. They only host one wedding at a time which was important to us and their menu is something that is truly out of this world. They cater to your every wish and make sure your guests feel the same way. The grounds are beautiful and were perfect for us to take pictures following our church mass.
The Menu: Lavish Cocktail hour with numerous stations and passed horderves. Dinner: Lobster Risotto cake (appetizer), Berry Sorbet (intermezzo), 3 choices for main course (seared ahi tuna, fillet mignon or chicken). Dessert: Viennese Hour and flaming coffee bar. Cake: alternating layers of vanilla sponge paired with cannoli cream then chocolate sponge with Godiva chocolate/raspberry.
The Gown: My gown was part of the Couture Collection from Allure Bridals. It was a fitted bodice embroidered with stitching and crystals that flared into a full tulle skirt and train. My absolute favorite part of my gown was the combination of satin buttons and crystals along the entire back of the bodice that stretched all the way to the end of the lengthy train. I chose a French-style bustle which allowed the train to display the buttons even while tied up during the reception. I paired a two tiered veil lined with crystals and a crystal headband to complete my perfect look.
Favorite Moment: There were so many to choose from! My favorite moment of the day was sitting with my husband at our head table during the reception and taking a moment to look around the filled ballroom while feeling the amount of love that our family and friends surrounded us with.

Advice for Other Brides: Take it all in from the moment you start getting ready with your bridesmaids til the very last song that your dance with your new husband to. The day flies by and whatever happens on your day will make it perfect!
