Details of the day: My bridesmaids and I had stayed at the hotel the night before. We all woke up early to start our day! Around 9am I met my bridesmaids at the venue to start hair and makeup. The Park Savoy provided us with small treats and lots of champagne and mimosas! Bob, his groomsmen and his dad went to the golf course located right behind the venue. After their fun, they went to the man cave right underneath us to get ready. After the girls and I were done with hair and makeup it was time for the first look! My soon to be husband was waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs with our entire party and parents watching us. He turned around and we both started crying. We took lots and lots of pictures until it was time for the girls to go back to the bridal suite to prepare for the ceremony in front of our 224 guest.
Shortly after it was time for the bridesmaids to leave me while I stayed upstairs with my maitre d. It was finally my turn to meet my dad at the doors to walk down the aisle to my husband! I peeked through the windows and saw everyone standing up waiting for me to walk down the stairs. “Here Comes the Bride” started playing and I walked down slowly. It felt like it was just me and Bob there and I didn’t recognize everyone. It was perfect! After we said “I Do” we walked back up the stairs too two glasses of chamapagne to our first toast as husband and wife! Bob and I were escorted back to the bridal suite to enjoy our alone time together before the big party started! We had our very own cocktail hour waiting for us in the bridal suite. We barely touched the food we were so excited!
After our entrance into the reception it was non-stop dancing from then on. Our guests were able to enjoy the photo booth we provided, along with enjoying our live painter that painted our first dance. Our first dance song was “I Get To Love You.” We danced on clouds and it was amazing! Our guests were able to enjoy a variety of food for dinner. For an appetizer the guests were served the Estate Signature Salad. For their entree they had the choice of Salmon Oscar, Chateaubriand or Chicken Sorrentino. For dessert we had a Viennese hour that consisted of every kind of dessert. From our 4 tier wedding cake all the way to fried Oreos! After dessert, our guests watched our AMAZING same day edit. The night was finished off from a black light show that lit up the room and our M.C. Danny got the crowd up and dancing with our light up props. It was truly the best day of our lives!
Your favorite part: My favorite part of the night was the first look. I loved being able to share that moment with our entire party and having it captured with video or photography. Bobs reaction was priceless! He got very teary eyed when he saw me.
Advice for other brides: My advice for other brides would to be to stop with your husband a couple times during the night and just look around at all your friends and family celebrating with you. The night goes by so so fast and you get so caught up in the fun that you forget to enjoy it together.
