Details of the Day: I’ve been to weddings at Brooklake Country Club and really enjoyed them. I loved the view and knew I wanted to capture it for my wedding photos. I went towards a harvest/fall theme. The colors were purple and orange. As far as favors, we had a red carpet laid out for all guests and a photo booth. The photo booth was really cool because our guests were able to personalize their frame with their names and the date.
The Menu: There was an extended cocktail hour, so instead of one hour it was an hour and a half. There were about six to seven stations. Each guest started off with salad, an entrée of either fish, beef, chicken or a vegetarian option. There was also a dessert sampler, international coffee bar, crepe station and an open bar.
Favorite Moment: My favorite moment was the first dance with my father and Billy.
Couldn’t Live Without: The photo booth. Everyone seemed to really love it.
Favorite Detail: The flowers were beautiful. We also had a canapé over the sweetheart table. It was supposed to be outside, but since it was so windy, we figured it would be best to have it indoors. Everyone thought it was beautiful and it ended up working out perfectly.
