Kassandra and Mike tied the knot on October 8, 2023 at Renault Winery in Egg Harbor City. The couple originally met at work. “I’m in marketing and he’s in finance,” says the bride. “We would run into each around the office, in the kitchen or at the printer and chat about our weekends or what we had for lunch. As months passed, I made the first move by sliding into Mike’s Instagram DMs.”
The couple had their first date at Django, a jazz club at the Roxy Hotel in Tribeca. “Little did we know that this iconic spot would become the backdrop for our engagement photo shoot four years later,” Kassandra says.
Kassandra was heading Paris for a work event, so the couple decided to make a trip out of it and visit the South of France beforehand.
“Mike surprised me with a proposal on the rooftop of our hotel. The moment was perfect—just the two of us against the stunning backdrop of Vieux Nice and the French Riviera,” she says.
The couple “absolutely loved the vineyard feel” of Renault Winery. “It had a whimsical and enchanting aesthetic,” Kassandra says, adding, “We also loved the openness of the tent and the privacy of the outdoor cocktail hour space.”
“Our wedding day was a celebration of timeless love set against the picturesque backdrop of Renault Winery. Embracing a classic and romantic theme, we chose a palette of light blues, sage greens, and creams to harmonize with the venue’s natural beauty. The florals, echoing the chosen colors, embodied a classic and romantic aesthetic, adding a touch of grace to our unforgettable day.”
The couple’s favorite moment was their first look.
“As I approached Mike, ready to tap him on the shoulder, I could see the emotions building and he was already overcome with tears. He turned around and I immediately hugged him, and we shared an unforgettable embrace,” Kassandra says.
“One detail from our wedding that we absolutely couldn’t live without was actually a surprise from our florist (Vine & Oak). They staged a gorgeous dusty blue couch surrounded by beautiful floral arrangements for us to take our portraits at. It was an unexpected and enchanting addition that added a touch of elegance to the day, only making us more excited to walk down the aisle.”
“Never leave each other’s sides throughout the day. Amidst the whirlwind of festivities, you’ll find yourself being pulled in various directions—greeting loved ones, dancing with friends, and coordinating with vendors. It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle, but staying close ensures you both share in the special moments.”
“Additionally, take a moment to be present and take in the joy around you. The day may feel overwhelming, but it’s important to remember that everyone present is there to celebrate your love.”
The couple spent their honeymoon in French Polynesia.
