How did he ask?
We were about to leave to go to Orlando to go to Disney and Wrestlemania (he’s a big WWE fan). My mom was going to be driving us to the airport as it’s on her way to work. A few days before, he told me he got a black car for our transportation to the airport. I thought it was ridiculous, but he wouldn’t budge.
My ring is a bit special as he customized it and began working with the jeweler (Julianna Jewelry in Woodbridge, NJ) on it about five months before he proposed. He wanted me to have something unique, so my center stone is a yellow cushion-cut diamond. He used details of my favorite Disney princess, Snow White’s, dress to design the ring. My engagement ring has a second band of diamonds, rubies, and sapphires to reflect the top of her dress and the yellow diamond reflects her skirt. The two rings are also engraved with “Adventure is out there,” a quote from his favorite Pixar movie, Up.
