How They Met: Marx and I met at an industry event in 2012. I had just graduated and started working and he was working for a competing company. When we met he immediately caught my attention, so I went ahead and introduced myself. However, he was preoccupied networking with everyone else and ignored me. Haha! We kept running into each other at events and became friends. In 2014, Marx took a job working for the same company as me BUT this position was in Miami. So I thought I’d never see him again. 🙁 We were randomly selected to attend the same training session in Texas and we have been inseparable ever since. Since we worked for the same company we kept our relationship a secret until we got engaged. That’s a hard task nowadays! New Jersey Bride Nathalie and Marx Engagement Session First Date: On our first date we went to the Chart House in Weehawken. Once we were seated our waiter walked over and said “Good evening Mr. And Mrs. Pozo.” We laughed awkwardly and quickly corrected him. But in that movement we knew… that would be our very last first date. New Jersey Bride Nathalie and Marx Engagement Session The Proposal: I had just picked him up from the Airport and he was acting very nervous. He handed me a gift and said to open it and my response was “Can I open it tomorrow? I’m tired.” Marx had put the ring box in a decorative larger box, which was wrapped three times. For every paper wrap removed came a card with clues as to the contents of the box. When I finally made my way to the last wrap, I found that I had to read another card before opening the box. The card pretty much summed up the proposal. I opened the box to find a smaller red box in the center and Marx Kneeling in front of me. Of course I said YES!! New Jersey Bride Nathalie and Marx Engagement Session The Engagement Session: Marx was back in NY for the holiday’s so we had a short window of time to take our pictures and to schedule wedding venue visits. We knew we wanted a rustic photo shoot and were planning to go to South Jersey to visit two wineries; conveniently in between the wineries was Wharton State Forest. We pulled over on the side of the road and took advantage of the natural sunlight. We were freezing but somehow our amazing photographer was able to capture some great shots. Our photographer was my really good friend Eliana Perez. New Jersey Bride Nathalie and Marx Engagement Session Their Wedding: We are getting married on September 3, 2016 in Dominican Republic. Our venue is a Ranch on top of a mountain that overlooks the city.
