Amy and Ryan got married at Crystal Point Yacht Club on September 1, 2024.
Amy and Ryan both went to Rutgers and met at the end of their junior year. They went on a few dates and the rest is history.
“On December 16, 2022, we both took off of work to spend the day in the city,” says Amy. “We went to RH Rooftop for brunch, and Tavern on Jane afterwards for drinks.”
“We drove back home, and after we arrived, Ryan came back into the kitchen with our dog, Rico, in a bandana and he popped the question.”
“Later that night, he surprised me at a brewery near our apartment with a party with all of our closets friends and family.”
The couple wanted a chic, romantic late-summer wedding.
The bridesmaids wore Birdy Grey dresses in terracotta and desert rose in matte satin and crepe materials. “These colors informed the rest of the mood for the day,” says Amy.
“Our flowers were a mix of light pinks, terracotta, whites and more that were the star of the show,” says the bride.
They also had a photobooth for guests to take home pics of themselves.

The couple had heard amazing things about the food at Crystal Point Yacht Club and they loved that it is on the river and down the Shore.
“Having all of our favorite people in one place having the time of their lives was so special,” says Amy. “The vibes were immaculate!”
“Our DJ absolutely killed the playlist and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long,” says Amy. “He perfectly captured our favorite songs and ensured the vibes were high.”
“Make a mood board at the beginning of the planning process on Pinterest and share that with the vendors you talk to,” says Amy. “Talk to a few different options for each vendor, and don’t skimp on the things that matter most to you.”
“If you’re able, a longer engagement was helpful to be able to plan things with ample time and not have to settle for vendors who might have been unavailable if we had a shorter engagement.”
The newlyweds went to Greece (Santorini and Mykonos) for 10 days.
“We had the best time relaxing at the pool and beach, we hiked along the cliff in Santorini to explore the various towns in Santorini, shopped, had the best food and drinks, did a wine tour, did a catamaran tour, and so much more,” says Amy. “We enjoyed the breathtaking sunsets every night.”
