Amie and Andrew got married at Liberty House on October 19, 2024.
Andrew planned the proposal day of Amie’s dreams. After proposing on a street in the West Village, a neighborhood that means so much to them, he gathered their families to surprise them with brunch at our apartment.
That evening he rented out a bar down the street to celebrate with all of their family and friends.
“I couldn’t stop smiling,” says Amie. “Everything was perfect and I fell even more in love with him.”
Amie and Andrew’s sleek, black-tie wedding at Liberty House was the epitome of modern elegance, set against the breathtaking NYC skyline.
With a birch pole chuppah adorned in baby’s breath, the outdoor ceremony radiated timeless beauty.
The reception featured gold candelabras, floating candles, and fairy lights hanging from the ceiling, adding a romantic touch to the celebration.

“We wanted a modern venue and one that we knew would throw a great party,” says Amie. “The design of Liberty House is so beautiful and the event staff immediately made us feel like we could picture ourselves getting married there.”
“Look at all types of venues,” she says. “You never know what will speak to you. Make sure you love the event staff since they’ll be the ones making your day special.”
She adds: “Get organized from the start, and knock something off your list every week so that it doesn’t pile up.”
“Enjoy every moment, and share any exciting progress with your family! It’s such a special time that goes by too quickly.”
The newlyweds jetted off to Africa, visiting Tanzania for a safari, Rwanda for gorilla trekking and Mozambique for the beach.
