How did you meet?
We meet online & fell in love in a sunflower field
How did he ask?
We were on a trip in Rhode Island last November. Billy and along with our dog Lexi were walking on the Cliff Walk. Billy was searching for the perfect spot to pop the question. He set up his tripod and camera, which was not unusual). Billy jogged over to get ready for the photo and got down on one knee!
Details of your day!
We love the beach and wanted something laid back and charming. The theme unintentionally ended up being watercolor. From the invites, colors, wedding cake and our custom guest book (a watercolor painting based off our engagement photos).
For our favors we wanted to incorporate one of our favorite hobbies-photography. We made drink coasters with photos we have taken on our travels.
What was on your menu?
Chicken franchese, Salmon, Prime Rib
What was your favorite moment?
My favorite moment was our vows. We each wrote our own and it added such a personal touch.
What was something you couldn’t live without?
My monogramed handkerchief, to soak up the tears
Did anything go wrong?
It was windy, and we had a hard time lighting the memorial candle, luckily one of the groomsmen had an extra lighter
What was your favorite detail?
Our cake topper included our clay replica of our dog (huskadoo, Etsy.com)
