Ashely and Eric wed on October 28, 2023 at WoodsEdge Farm.
The couple first met in middle school and began their journey as friends. They dated briefly in high school then lost touch throughout and after college.
Eric was moving to Hoboken and as Ashley was living in Jersey City at the time. A mutual friend encouraged Ashley to reach out to Eric to reconnect.
They got engaged on September 30, 2022 in New Hope, PA.
What Ashley thought was a normal date night at one of their favorite places, Odette’s, turned into a surprise proposal. Eric got down on one knee shortly before their dinner reservations. After dinner, they enjoyed some cocktails on their rooftop while a local band played.

Their fall wedding had a neutral color palette with gold and greenery. It took place on an alpaca farm and they ended the night with a candy truck for guests.
“I always say I am such a mix of a country girl and city girl,” says Ashley. “However since a very young age, I always knew I wanted a rustic yet modern romantic venue. As soon as we stepped onto the property of WoodsEdge Farm, we both knew it was the one.”
“There are a bunch of llamas and alpacas that live on the farm and are not shy to come right up to the fence to see what’s going on!”
“Surrounding the venue are acres of land where the animals freely roam. It was magical. As an avid animal lover, having these beautiful creatures surrounding us on our special day was a dream come true,” says the bride.
Ashley loved both the first look and walking down the aisle.
“Having that special moment alone together, on the peaceful beautiful farm, was so romantic,” she says. “Walking down the aisle to live music including a guitar, keyboard and flute was just pure bliss. It is a moment I will never forget.”
Amy and Brent, the owners of WoodsEdge Farm, made the couple’s wedding day complete. “They put my mind at ease leading up to the wedding day, as well as the day of,” says Ashley. “Amy and her staff were there for me every second.”
“Enjoy the moment,” says Ashley. “Take five minutes throughout the reception to take a step back and look at all the guests that are there to celebrate your love. Oh, and also don’t forget to eat!”
They went to Italy for 13 days. “We started in the countryside of Tuscany, then headed to Florence then finally Sorrento,” says Ashley. “We did day trips to Positano, Ravello and a boat ride Capri.”
