Colin and Grace got married on July 6, 2024, at the Madison Hotel.
Colin and Grace first met when they were just eight years old.
“We started talking more and making jokes together in middle school and in high school we became great friends,” says Grace. “We began dating on January 14, 2012, while in our last semester in high school.”
Colin planned to propose on Christmas 2022 but he was sick. The day after Christmas, the couple went to Colin’s family’s house.
“When we walked in, there was music playing, a long white carpet, rose petals and candles. At the end it said ‘Marry Me,’ When I got to the end and turned around he was on one knee. He said he should have done it a long time ago.
Colin and Grace’s summer wedding at the Madison Hotel Conservatory was a stunning celebration of elegance and personal touches. From the heartfelt blessing at the ceremony’s start, their day was filled with meaningful moments.
Their self-choreographed first dance and professionally choreographed father-daughter dance added special flair to their celebration.
The floral, fairytale theme was brought to life with pink, peach, and white flowers, enhanced by greenery and symbolic branches of peach and orange blossoms.
Grace’s exquisite Carrington gown by Badgley Mischka, a light pink princess-style ball gown, complemented the formal Saturday night event, while Colin’s all-white tux added a unique touch.
The Conservatory offered a beautiful indoor venue with a greenhouse ambiance. Grace and Colin loved the hanging plants, beautiful lighting, and convenience for their guests.

“The Conservatory is a beautiful indoor venue that looks like a greenhouse and it is originally from France,” says Grace. “We like little European and Southern touches here and there. My favorite aspects of the venue are the plants that hang from the pots above. The lighting is also beautiful.”
“We really wanted something convenient for all of our guests so the fact that it is accessible and has ample parking and everything is in one place was a major factor for us.”
“Walking down the aisle and seeing Colin because I felt less anxious immediately,” says Grace.
“Having my family and friends together in one place and enjoying the ambience of the night,” says Colin.
“Enjoy the process and make decisions as a couple.”
