Samely and Eddie tied the knot on October 21, 2022 at the Tides Estate in North Haledon. They originally met at D’Jais in Belmar on 4th of July weekend in 2017, and the rest was history. “We proved that you can definitely find love at the Jersey Shore,” says Samely.
The couple took a trip to Salem, Massachusetts in October of 2020 “as we love all things spooky and Eddie was born on Halloween.” “One night we went out to dinner and Eddie brought over two glasses of champagne. We cheered and I went to take a sip and realized there was a ring in the bottom of my glass! Eddie fished the ring out and then proposed to me right there!”
The couple chose the Tides Estate because it was “absolutely stunning and our coordinator Michael was incredibly helpful. The Tides has a beautiful classic charm to it that was exactly what we were looking for, and has so much to offer,” says Samely.
Samely and Eddie, who both love the fall, got married in late October. “The leaves had already changed so our outdoor ceremony was stunning with all the bright colors being around us,” says Samely. Bridesmaids wore emerald satin dresses and groomsmen donned gray suits.
The flowers were pink and white roses with eucalyptus. The couple closed out their ceremony with a bubble send-off, where guests blew bubbles as the pair walked away as husband and wife. Â
Samely chose an Eddy K gown in the style Octavia, a mermaid-style dress. “This dress was initially the opposite of what I wanted in a wedding dress—I wanted long lace sleeves and my actual dress was sleeveless—but when I tried it on it just fit so beautifully and I didn’t want to take it off,” she says.
The couple created a candy station and also had a caricature artist.
“Enjoy every single moment! The night goes by so fast—make sure you are enjoying every step of the ride.”
