Lindsey and Jeffrey tied the knot on July 2o, 2024 at Linwood Country Club.
Lindsey and Jeffrey met at the University of Connecticut. “We both were athletes. I ran track and cross country and Jeffrey played baseball,” says Lindsey.
“One day, we both were heading into the athlete gym and he held the door for me (and then several more in a row after that). He got my number and we started dating shorty after.
“A few weeks into dating, he said he was going to marry me one day. When you know, you know!”
The couple also got engaged in Connecticut on a sunny winter day.
“He took me to my favorite beach and popped the question,” says Lindsey. “A photographer was hiding to take pictures! I still don’t fully remember his speech on one knee, I was in shock and blinded from the ring!”
Then Jeffrey surprised Lindsey with a celebration with college friends who flew in to Connecticut. “It was the best day,” she says.
“We had a beautiful garden party wedding,” says Lindsey. “Our ceremony overlooked the bay on a cloudy day in July. Cocktail hour was outside and the ballroom was open and airy with big windows.”
“The rain held off for the ceremony and then stopped in time for evening photos outside.”
Fun details included a seed-themed seating chart where guests names were printed on seed packets, a bubble ceremony exit and beautiful white and blue flowers with a hint of lavender.

“Linwood Country Club is so beautiful,” says Lindsey. “The bridal suite was huge and insanely pretty. There are so many spots for photos. Plus, the coordinators are incredible.”
“Our ceremony spot was so perfect with a view of the water. I also loved a summer outdoor cocktail hour!”
The ballroom sealed the deal for the couple. “It was big and open but really spoke for itself without having to decorate too much. Everything just screams coastal elegance. It was stunning!”
The bride’s favorite moment was the first look. “Jeffrey’s jaw dropped when he saw me,” says Lindsey. “We read private vows to each other and had a beautiful moment before we welcomed our guests to watch us say ‘I do.'”
“My dress had the most beautiful beaded detailing and my veil had matching beading to finish the look,” says the bride. “I wore pearls in my hair and felt elegant, timeless and classy.”
“Try to enjoy each moment as best you can! It’s a whirlwind and goes so, so fast! Enjoy the planning process and the adrenaline of the day…soon it’ll be over before you know it!”
The couple went to Aruba for a week and spent time relaxing on the beach, snorkeling and hiking.
