Details of the day:
Mike and I met back in 2007, through mutual friends on a Friday night. It was not until the following Sunday that Mike asked me out on a date and I without any hesitation said yes. While I did not like the movie he picked for our first date, I definitely love spending time with him. Since that day we became best friends and I have to say that I am a lucky girl, because I’ve married my best friend. During the holidays of 2010, we had the most memorable Christmas Eve of our lives. It was the first time sharing Christmas Eve dinner together after dating for almost three years and right before opening gifts, Michal kneeled down and proposed.
On September 8, 2012, I woke up early at my parents’ house and began preparing with my parents, sisters, and niece. Everybody told me I looked stunning in my white gown with a beautiful long cathedral style veil. I learned that day that no matter what, on their wedding day, all brides are the center of attention and look amazing. My hair and makeup were done by Sylvia at Beauty Spa in Wallington. Michal got ready at his parents’ house in Clifton with his family. He was wearing the Vera Wang tuxedo we picked months earlier and was the most handsome man I’d ever seen.
