Details of the Day: Romantic details filled with light and airy blush pink and rose gold accents, made our wedding a day we will never forget. From the array of peonies, to my lace and tulle nude illusion wedding dress, to the perfectly elegant wedding cake, every detail was truly amazing and everything I could have ever imagined. The gorgeous sunny summer day, coupled with the overall atmosphere of the elegant Park Savoy Estate, made our wedding a truly magical experience. Our wedding photographer, Christy Nicole Photography, perfectly captured every detail of our wedding. It was truly the “best day ever” as displayed on our cake topper, and a day that we will both never forget.
The Venue: When we walked into the Park Savoy, we knew we had to have our wedding there. It reminded us of a beautiful southern estate and complimented the romantic details of our wedding perfectly.
The Menu: The Park Savoy wowed all of our guests with a spectacular cocktail hour complete with a Martini Bar and also included an outdoor grill station featuring a Margarita Bar. Our wedding menu started our guests off with the Estate Signature Salad. The main course consisted of a choice of Chilean Sea Bass, Chateaubriand, or Chicken Saltimbocca. We finished the day with a decadent Viennese dessert table display featuring a chocolate fountain and many other delicious desserts. Our beautiful wedding cake was a simple white three tier cake decorated with accents of pink peonies. It was topped with a gold embossed cake topper saying “Best Day Ever” in elegant script writing.
The Gown: The Pronovias Printella nude illusion gown exceeded my expectations and more. The dress featured a nude illusion neck line with lace details going down my back. My advice for other brides is don’t settle for a dress that you don’t love. I knew what I wanted, and tried on many dresses until I finally found my dream dress.
Favorite Moment: Looking around on my wedding day and seeing everything that we had planned come together so beautifully was my most memorable wedding moment. It was like I was in a dream and I couldn’t have been happier.
Detail You Couldn’t Live Without: Peonies! My bridal bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, and the table center pieces were filled with peonies in varying shades of blush and pinks.
First Dance Song: Crazy Girl by Eli Young Band
Advice For Other Brides: Even though the wedding planning process can be crazy and stressful, just keep looking toward the end goal. Once you are experiencing the excitement of your wedding day, you will realize that all of the craziness of wedding planning was well worth it.
Honeymoon: We went to Tulum, Mexico on our honeymoon. We had an amazing time at our stay at the Grand Oasis Tulum Resort. Tulum is infamous for its beautiful beaches and turquoise waters. We experienced Tulum to the fullest by exploring the Mayan Ruins along the Tulum beaches, going zip lining through the Tulum jungles, diving in the underwater caves, and swimming with the dolphins at the Xel-Ha natural aquarium park. Both my husband and I had an amazing time and we would love to go back again.
