Rebecca and Aaron wed on April 29, 2023 at Natirar.
They originally met on Hinge.
“The day of our first date he traveled 5 hours from his hometown of Pittsburgh to Philadelphia,” says the bride. “We like to think he had a good feeling (and he was right!).”
They got engaged on October 22, 2021 in the 18th Century Garden in Old City, Philadelphia.
“Aaron planned the beautiful surprise and our whole family surprised us after with an intimate celebration at our apartment. It was perfect,” says Rebecca.
“We wanted our day to have a timeless, classic, vintage, and rustic vibe with a beautiful outdoor space and Natirar was just the place for that. It was the first and last venue we visited before booking,” says Rebecca.
The couple chose white and blue florals with greenery: lots of white roses, eucalyptus, and blue delphinium. “We love the outdoors and wanted a classic combination to bring the lightness of the outdoors indoors too,” says Rebecca.
Their favors were cookie bags with treats made from friends/and family, an honorary Pittsburgh wedding tradition where Aaron is from.
The rain, which the bride initially thought would be an issue, added something to the couple’s wedding. “I now can’t imagine the day without the dreamy vibe the rain created, and our photos with clear umbrellas outdoors are some of my favorites,” says Rebecca.
Her gown was a classic off-white strapless, mermaid Pnina Tornai dress from Kleinfeld in New York.
Their first look. “he momentum leading up that moment was unlike anything I have ever experienced,” says Rebecca.
“Be as present as possible and take in as many mental pictures as you can with your partner and on your own because they make it easier to relive the best day of your life and it truly does go by so fast.”
The couple traveled to Bali, spending half their time at a resort in the jungle and half on the beach side.
