Eve and Casey got married at the Conservatory at Sussex County Fairgrounds on July 22, 2023.
Eve and Casey met in September 2018 in New York City, a week after Eve moved into her first apartment on the Upper East Side. While scrolling Instagram with her friend, Sarah (Eve’s maid of honor), Eve first saw Casey in a photo alongside Sarah’s brother, Zack (Casey’s friend from college).
Instantly she was intrigued by this tall, handsome man with bold eyebrows and great hair. The next day, Casey was given Eve’s phone number and a few hours later the two went on their first date.
Casey brought Eve to a beer hall, Treadwell Park, where they talked and laughed until last call.
Casey popped the question at a holiday party in the backyard of Eve’s mothers house in front of family and their beloved dog, Maple.
“I envisioned it exactly how it turned out,” says Eve. “Whimsically romantic with fine tuned details that the naked eye may not pick up on.”
They especially wanted to honor their late fathers, which they did throughout the ceremony.
They also wanted to highlight Casey’s mother’s unique candle stick painting talent (she hand painted every candlestick to match the theme of their pink and blue pastel wedding.)
They also wanted to include their adored dog, Maple, which they did through their cocktail napkins and bar signs.

“Casey and I instantly fell in love with the Conservatory,” says Eve. “We loved the fact that it wasn’t your traditional ballroom venue. We viewed it as a blank canvas that would allow our creativity to run free.”
“We also loved that the venue was completely ours. There wouldn’t be another wedding taking place that same night, which was very important to us.”
“The staff was extremely friendly and we were given the freedom to choose our own vendors including everything from the caterer to florist to band.”
“Seeing my groom took away any ounce of nerves,” says Eve. “From that moment on, the night was effortless and carefree.”
“I needed a beautiful specialty linen that wouldn’t be found in your typical linen selection,” says Eve.
“Hire a good team of vendors,” says the bride. “Make sure to interview them carefully and truly connect with those you hire. I wouldn’t have been able to bring my vision to life without the right professionals to back me.”
The newlyweds went to Sicily and Paris.
