A cross between a historic manor house and a luxe resort with special-event capacity, Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club in Brewster, Massachusetts, is a charming venue for a host of pre- or post-wedding festivities, a romantic mini-moon, or a girls’ getaway.

The sprawling 429-acre property was originally built as a private, summer residence, then served as a retreat and seminary, from 1944 until the late 1970s. Now the renovated mansion serves as a hub of activity for the overnight guests who stay in the two wings that flank the mansion—each with indoor and outdoor pools and whirlpools. Two- and three-bedroom villas with multiple baths are also available so bring on your bridal entourage!
