If you’ve ever dreamed of having your nuptials in a castle, there’s good news. One of the state’s premier venues has just unveiled a sophisticated upgrade that makes a fairytale-inspired wedding easier to do right here in New Jersey.

When the Mansion at Natirar in Peapack-Gladstone—also home to celebrated eatery Ninety Acres—opened for weddings in 2010, the 275-seat ballroom and handful of accompanying spaces took full advantage of the regal building’s Tudor-style architecture, with soaring, beamed ceilings and awe-inspiring treetop views of the hills of Somerset County. Today, the manse, once a private home for the late King of Morocco, is a Pendry Hotel property and has been masterfully expanded with top-notch accommodations and a spa.

Bring on overnight guests: the 66 plush quarters, including 20 suites, are sure to please. Rooms are appointed with pillowtop mattresses, 600-thread count sheets, walk-in wardrobes, Bluetooth speakers and fully stocked Vittori coffee machines. The marble baths are outfitted with twin basins, rain-shower fixtures and custom toiletries from MiN New York. The Estate rooms have views of Natirar Park, the 411-acre, mostly wooded public property adjacent to the resort, while Resort View rooms look out on Ninety Acres restaurant and the property’s farm. Twenty-four-hour room service is available. Guests can relax in the stunning common rooms that feature show-stopping original features like a limestone foyer, stone fireplaces, ornate plaster ceilings, wood paneling and inlaid flooring.

Making the most of the property, Pendry Natirar’s new dining venture, Lad’s Tavern joins Ninety Acres, which has been an area go-to for dining since 2009. The farm-to-table aesthetic expands its repertoire at the hands of Peter Rudolph, who grew his culinary prowess on the West Coast, where he earned Michelin accolades. He brings the riches of the Garden State’s bounty to the plate.
