We love when Kristin Rockhill of Details of I Do shares with us her themed photo shoots!
“Who doesn’t love the idea of a downtown Princeton Wedding? The downtown landscape and scenic university grounds are the perfect setting to say I do! Check out this styled shoot at the Historic Nassau Inn full of lush blooms, rustic charm and preppy details!
The Colors:
Navy, Dusty Blue, Dusty Green, Leather, Chocolate, Slate, Pink, Rouge, Orange, Purple, Red, Peach
The Flowers:
Peonies, Roses, Garden Roses, Ranunculus, Hydrangea, Thistle, Tweedia, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, Seasonal Greens
The Bride:
The Bride wore a trumpet style skirt paired with a navy blue cardigan, that was accented with a leather bow tie belt. For a sweet little something we wrapped the bride in a cozy plaid blanket. The quintessential Princeton style; classic, understated, comfortable elegance.
The Ceremony:
The Ceremony was decked out with rustic barrels, crates, benches and a vintage armoire loaded with bundles of greenery to create a soft, nature inspired setting. The backdrop was sheer swaging fabric in dreamy blues with a chandelier accent to add a little touch of elegance.
The Table-Scape:
For the table I opted for a sweet steel blue rattan which added the perfect pop of texture paired with wood ballroom chairs, gold charger plates and glassware and beautiful blue rimmed dinner plates that are simply elegant. The rest of the table top was adorned with sparkling gold jeweled candlesticks a an antique gold jewelry box that brought an opulent feel to the tabletop. The showstopper was the towering centerpiece on a wood pedestal with an over the top floral arrangement with bold colors and lush blooms.
The Details:
Vintage Suitcases, Whiskey Barrels, Wood Crates, Vintage Fireplace Cake Display”
