Couple: Erica + Logan Findeison
Venue: The Smithville Inn, Galloway
Inspo: Erica thought that using shot glasses as escort cards âwould help get the party feeling started during cocktail hour.â Plus, the glasses doubled as a unique favor.
Where They Shopped: A designer through Alibaba created the glasses. Erica made the sign for the escort card table (which read âTake a Shot and Find Your Spotâ) using a Cricut and a mirror from At Home.
Couple: Theresa Connelly + Andrew Trager
Venue: Crossed Keys Estate, Andover
Inspo: Each table number was accompanied by one photo of Theresa and one photo of Andrew from that age. Theresa initially came across the idea on Etsy. Finding the photos turned into a memory itself; they spent hours with each of their families pouring through childhood pics and hearing old stories.
Where They Shopped: Etsy
Couple: Alexis + AJ Ricciardi
Venue: Park Château Estate & Gardens, East Brunswick
Inspo: Alexis says she âcouldnât refuseâ this beautiful acrylic cake stand when Creative Design by Jess, which provided signage for the wedding, showed the couple this new offering. During the reception, the cake was displayed next to the sweetheart table. The stand featured the coupleâs wedding monogram in gold.
Where They Shopped: Creative Design by Jess provided the stand, and A Little Cake in Park Ridge made the cake.
Couple: Karla + Colin MacGregor
Venue: Felina, Ridgewood
Inspo: âIn 2023, we went to seven weddings, not including our own. As guests, we always notice the little things that people put so much work into,â says Karla. Plus, the napkins âcould be a fun talking point during cocktail hour where guests would be mingling with new faces.â The couple had a great time brainstorming the fun facts over dinner one night.
Where They Shopped: Shutterfly
Couple: Nicole + Michael Russnak
Venue: Davidâs Country Inn, Hackettstown
Inspo: Nicole and Michael wanted the reception room of their October wedding to âfeel dark and moody like an old love story,â she says. To that end, centerpieces featured old books and quotes about love, while the seating chart was fashioned as an open book. Table numbers were chapters.
Where They Shopped + Sourced: To create the centerpieces, the couple collected books from the Passaic Public Library and then sanded off the titles to give them a worn look. The chapter table numbers came from Bookishparties on Etsy, and the seating chart was from LGCreativeStudios on Etsy.
Couple: Sarra + Greg Spoleti
Venue: Hotel LBI, Ship Bottom
Inspo: Sarra and Greg wanted a guest book that would be useful and not just âwall art for a few years before it was replaced by something else.â They love playing board and card games, so a Jenga set was a natural choice. âWe can also play it with our future family members, children and nieces/nephews,â Sarra adds. âTheyâll get to see how many people came to celebrate our love with us.â
Where They Shopped: The personalized Jenga set came from HundredHearts on Etsy, and the guest book sign was from WishfulPaperBoutique on Etsy.
Couple: Victoria + Paul Jovanovski
Venue: Park Château Estate & Gardens, East Brunswick
Inspo: âOur favorite wedding detail was definitely our monogram,â says Victoria. âWe used it in so many places throughout the day to make everything feel like it had our personal little touch on it.â It was featured prominently on the aisle runner at the coupleâs ceremony.
Where They Shopped: The monogram was designed by SunnyroseStore on Etsy. Flemington Department Store created the runner.
Couple: Lindsey Kane + Jeffrey Kersten
Venue: Linwood Country Club
Inspo: At this garden-themed wedding, the seating chart featured real seed packets, which guests could take home as a favor. âI came up with âPlease Be Seededâ in a dream one night, and âLet Love Growâ was a cute way to tie in some more flowers at the bottom,â Lindsey says.
Where They Shopped: Lindsey DIYâd the project with assistance from her family. She bought the seeds off Amazon, used a template from Etsy for the name cards, and hot glued the cards to the seed packets. Jeffrey, plus Lindseyâs dad and brother, built the boardâwith a back stand to support itâout of wood. Letters came from Etsy.
Couple: Emily + Noah Reisman
Venue: Park Avenue Club, Florham Park
Inspo: Emily and Noah met at Camp Schodack in upstate New York when they were just 11 years old. Fast-forward nearly two decades and the couple wanted to incorporate that special place into their wedding. âItâs a very big part of our lives,â says Emily. Decor included cut-tree table markers with bunk names instead of numbers, with coordinating escort cards. Invitations resembled Mad Libs-style camp letters, and favors were green âCamp Reismanâ T-shirts.
Where They Shopped: Table markers came from Etsy. A wedding planner friend sourced the shirts.
