This Couple—And Their 500 Guests—Fell For Their Venue’s European-Inspired Charm
Julia and Luke got married on July 14, 2024 at The Legacy Castle.
Their Story
Julia and Luke met in the most unexpected way—through Instagram.
“What started as a simple message turned into endless conversations and an undeniable connection,” says Julia.
“As we got to know each other, we discovered something surprising: we were both from the same church and had somehow never crossed paths. It felt like proof that timing is everything.”
Choosing the Venue
“We chose The Legacy Castle because it felt like a dream the moment we stepped inside,” says Julia. “Its grand architecture, timeless elegance, and European-inspired charm created an atmosphere that was both romantic and unforgettable.”
“The castle offered the perfect balance of old-world sophistication and modern luxury, making it the perfect setting for us.”
Details of the Day
“We got married on a beautiful hot summer day at Saint Gabriel’s Syriac Orthodox Church,” says Julia. “After the ceremony, we partied the night away with 500 of friends and family at The Legacy Castle.”
“The Legacy Castle had always been my dream place to get married—timeless, romantic and regal,” says Julia.
“It became the perfect backdrop for our modern garden theme vision, where lush greenery met refined elegance. Towering 30-foot trees created a sense of presence and drama, softened by layers of white florals for a fresh, sophisticated feel.”
Favorite Moment
“My favorite moment of the day was the car ride after our ceremony to the wedding venue,” says Julia. “It was the first quiet pause we had together—the first chance to truly soak in the fact that we were officially husband and wife.”
“Away from the crowd and anticipation of the night ahead, we were able to laugh, reflect, and savor those intimate moments together before the celebration and partying began.”
Wedding Day Attire
Julia’s gown was a customized Pnina Tornai gown. She completed her look with Jimmy Choo heels and headpieces from Bridal Styles Boutique. Her second gown was a customized Milla Nova gown.
Advice For Other Couples
“My biggest piece of advice to other couples is to be fully present and soak in every moment of the night. The day goes by faster than you can imagine, and before you know it, it’s over.”
“Take intentional pauses to look around and truly take in the love and joy surrounding you. You’ll cherish those memories forever.”
Honeymoon
They honeymooned in Italy and Greece. They made three stops in Italy: Rome, Lake Como, and Venice. From there, they went to Mykonos and Santorini.
